What is a quick scan?

A quick scan is a small sample of 5 pages based on WCAG 2.2, level AA. Want to get an overall picture of the accessibility of your online services? Then a quick scan is the perfect option! However, the results are not representative of the entire website or app.

Want to get a complete picture for, say, the accessibility statement, the European Accessibility Act or for the Waarmerk Drempelvrij.nl? Then opt for a full audit.

This is how a quick scan works at Cardan:

1. We pick a date

Together with our planner Femke, you choose a suitable time to have the audit (or several examinations) carried out.

2. Determine your own sample

Choose 5 pages you want us to audit. If available, you can also have 2 PDFs audited.

3. The quick scan has started!

Our WCAG auditor performs the quick scan according to the latest WCAG guidelines. Currently, that is the WCAG 2.2 AA!

4. View the report

Within 3 weeks, your audit report will be ready in My Cardan. This report is available in HTML that can be used right away for the accessibility statement. You will also receive the results in pdf, JSON and CSV. The report is provided with all our findings, suggestions and solutions.
