What is an additional audit?
The name of the audit actually says it all. This additional audit is ideal to complement a specific part of your website, app or PDF document.
Have you recently made changes and want to know if they are digitally accessible? Or are you not yet ready for a full audit but want to investigate a small part? Then choose this additional audit based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA)!
What is the WCAG?
The WCAG guidelines from success criteria that help you make the internet more digitally accessible. Think of it as a handbook for digital accessibility!
This is how a additional audit works at Cardan:
1. We pick a date
Together with our planner Femke, you choose a suitable time to have the additional audit carried out. If you would like a consultation interview, please indicate this in the contact form at the bottom of the page.
2. You decide what we will audit
In the additional audit, we examine a specific part of your website, app or document. You decide what we examine and what the starting point of the study will be, such as:
The design of your website created by your designer.
A new video that you have had produced and want to add.
A series of blogs that you have written in the past few months.
Improvements to the search engine on your website or app.
A changes to your homepage.
A new profile section for users of your app.
3. The additional audit is started!
Our researcher takes off! We do a manual inspection based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA). These meet the legal requirements for the Digital Government Act and the European Accessibility Act.
4. View the report
Within 3 weeks, your audit report will be ready in My Cardan. This report is available in HTML. You will also receive the results in pdf, JSON and CSV. The report is provided with all our findings, suggestions and solutions.
