Free training course "Creating and managing an accessible website"

On Wednesday 6 October, we are organising the free online training course "Creating and managing an accessible website" together with Every(in). Are you the administrator of your own website, or that of your club or association? Then join this interactive training online from 15:00 to 17:00.

Accessibility Week 2021

From 4 to 8 October, it is once again the Accessibility Week. This year's theme is "Out and Home". Like last year, there is also a lot of focus on digital accessibility.

Being able to participate online is and remains incredibly important. Even as corona is slowly but surely losing focus. Many companies and organisations now only offer their services online. But what if you can't always make good use of this?

Since the corona crisis, I have been working entirely from home. For me, accessible websites have therefore become even more important. There is now no colleague around to give me a hand.

Digital accessibility training for webmasters

In this training by Cardan and Ieder(in), we will dive into digital accessibility using recognisable examples that we will discuss live. We look beyond "colours" and alt-texts. Besides the key things you can immediately start improving on your website yourself, we'll also look at the process of digital accessibility and give you handy tips on what to look out for when creating new content yourself or having it created by an external party.

The training is mainly intended for volunteers from organisations, associations and clubs who manage their own websites themselves and want to get started with digital accessibility.
