Exceptions and improvements to our reports

From 23 September 2021, our survey reports will become clearer, with the aim of making websites and documents even more accessible. We will also redesign our reports and you will receive an import file that allows you to quickly add all findings to the accessibility statement.

Statutory exceptions no longer examined

At Logius' request and in consultation with other inspection bodies and Stichting Waarmerk Drempelvrij, the agreement has been made to no longer investigate legal exceptions. From now on, these will be excluded from the scope of the investigation. However, we do advise clients to include these exceptions in the accessibility statement.

Examples of exceptions include older PDF documents, older videos and maps. For a complete overview, see the webpage specific situations on digitoegankelijk.nl.

Reports in a new look

We are currently improving our survey reports. The aim is to make the reports easier to read. To this end, we have created a new and modern design. With this, we hope to make the reporting even clearer.

In the coming weeks, we will test with this new design and further improve the document.

Complete accessibility statement

In the accessibility statement on your website, you state how accessible the website is. Of course, you also mention any problems that come out of our survey. This is also the place to indicate whether you use the legal exception for certain problems.

Since the end of July 2021, it has been possible to quickly import all findings via the Accessibility Declaration Fill-in Assistant. To do this, you need a json file. This is a structured file that you can easily add in step 4 of the fill-in assistant. From now on, it is also possible for our clients to receive the survey in such a json file.
