Become more accessible with various surveys
Digital accessibility is important, but the survey is sometimes seen as a burden. As far as we are concerned, it doesn't have to be, because it can be an important tool to help you improve digital accessibility. That's why we have several surveys. Our goal? To improve the accessibility of your content together.

How do you get your content researched?
How you commission an accessibility study for your website, app or document depends very much on the priority of digital accessibility for your project, the size of your website or app or the stage of the project you are in. Our range of different surveys will help you with this.
Full inspection
The full inspection is best deployed when your website is just live or just before it goes live, but also when an older research report is no longer valid We check the website, app or document according to the WCAG-EM. This is the recommended assessment method where we look at all the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Our experienced researchers then determine a sample of pages to examine. You have no influence on this, but of course we can look within the examination for additional points you want to emphasise.
The report of the full inspection is your main piece of evidence when preparing your accessibility statement. So this survey is a must-have if digital accessibility is really important to your company or organisation's target audience.
Don't meet all the success criteria after the first inspection? No problem. We can schedule a re-inspection within 60 working days of the initial examination. This gives you about 3 months to connect the dots. Even if not everything has been resolved yet. We think this is so incredibly important that it is included in the price of the survey.
Additional research
You can use the additional research at any stage of the project:
While the content is being created, we liaise with the creator (e.g. your web designer)
When the content goes live, we review final touches
After, say, a year, we explore new features, a new video or new articles
During the supplementary review - sometimes called progress review - we look specifically at what you want and check only the relevant WCAG 2.1 or WCAG 2.2 success criteria.
The additional survey can be used to draft your accessibility statement. It should then be combined with another survey, as you do need to have insight into the status of all WCAG success criteria in your accessibility statement.
Quickscan
The quickscan is, as the name suggests, a quick check of your website, app or document. You can use the quick scan during any phase of the project. During the quick scan, we also do not check all the success criteria by default and we look at a limited part of the website. Unlike the supplementary research, we basically determine the sample and look at the whole rather than a specific part. The quick scan cannot be used for the accessibility statement.
Sub-study content or technology
During a partial survey, we look at either the content or the technology of your website or app. During the content substudy, we look at 30 success criteria that are mainly influenced by the content manager or editor. In the technology sub-survey, we look at 43 success criteria that are of a more technical nature and are more important for web builders and developers.
Both sub-surveys can be used to draft your accessibility statement, but together they should provide a complete picture of all relevant success criteria.
Which research do you choose?
When do you opt for an additional study, a full inspection, a quick scan or a partial study? It just depends on what stage your project is in and what your goal is. To make it easy for you, we have listed the differences and similarities. And we are happy to help you make the right choice.
