For companies in brief

In our digital world, it is important that everyone can use your website and online services. Digital accessibility ensures that all your online content, from websites and apps to documents, can be used by anyone, including people with functional disabilities. This is not only a legal requirement, but also just the right thing to do and good for your business.

Together with you, we make sure your digital services are usable by all your customers. In addition, we make sure you also comply with legislations such as the European Accessibility Act. This is the Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019, on accessibility requirements for products and services.

All about the EAA

The benefits of a digitally accessible business

Social inclusion

Inclusiveness and equal opportunities for all are key. An accessible website ensures that everyone, regardless of disability, has access to the same information and services.

Improved user experience

Accessibility measures improve the user experience and usability of a website, leading to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Greater reach

By making your website accessible, you significantly increase your potential customer base. In the Netherlands alone, there are millions of people with disabilities who could benefit from accessible online content.

SEO benefits

Search engines value accessible websites. Many accessibility measures, such as using alt text for images, also improve your site's SEO.

The WCAG and the European Accessibility Act

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines were created to help everyone with digital accessibility. These are 55 success criteria that explain how to take digital accessibility into account. To comply with the European Accessbility Act, the WCAG guidelines play an important role.

  4. Implementation and assurance

Good solutions will be incorporated into the organisation's processes, which our project manager will pick up together with your company.

  5. Accessibility Statement

As a company, you will have to show that you are accessible both digitally and physically, thus complying with the European Accessibility Act. You do this by drawing up a thorough Accessibility Statement. We will help you draw up the right documentation.

  6. Repetition and future

From 28 June 2025, you will always have to comply with digitally and physically accessible services. This requires repetition and the proper safeguarding in the organisation.
